Tours of Tuscany
I don’t like to say I have “favorites” when I travel but I must admit….Tuscany holds a special place in my heart. When driving among the rolling hills and looking at the gorgeous vineyards and homes for miles and miles, plus seeing the gated villages that look like a movie set, there’s no denying it is one special place. Add in the wine, people and amazing food and yeah…I say it’s a favorite indeed. With our home base still Florence, we spent the last two days with Sam, the most amazing driver and touring Siena, San Gimignano, Monticiano, Monticchiello, Pienza and several local wineries. Every turn was prettier than the next. Weeks later, wine is still being delivered to my door and it’s like Christmas day every time. Well, I could keep going on and on but I think I’ll just let the pictures do the talking.
