Luxury Resorts Worth Discovering

There are destinations that are beautiful... and then there are destinations that leave you dreaming about when you can return.

That was Antigua for me.

Recently, I had the privilege of exploring this incredible island alongside my travel tribe—a group of luxury travel advisors who have become some of my favorite people to see the world with. Together, we were hosted by our wonderful partners at Ultimate Jet Vacations as we toured some of Antigua's most exceptional resorts, always with one goal in mind: finding the very best experiences for our clients.

While we explored several incredible properties, three stood out for very different reasons.

Hammock Cove

Our journey began at Hammock Cove, an adults-only, all-inclusive resort tucked away on a quiet stretch of Antigua's coastline. If your idea of the perfect vacation is total relaxation, privacy, and uninterrupted time together, this is a wonderful choice. It's especially well suited for honeymooners or couples looking to completely unplug and recharge.

Jumby Bay Island

Next, we visited one of the most breathtaking resorts I've ever experienced—Jumby Bay Island.

Accessible only by a short private ferry ride, Jumby Bay feels like you've stepped into your own private paradise. The resort offers beautifully appointed suites, cottages, and spectacular private villas, making it an incredible fit for just about every type of traveler. Whether you're planning a romantic honeymoon, a multigenerational family vacation, a milestone celebration, or a girlfriends' getaway, Jumby Bay truly delivers.

The beaches are absolutely stunning, and there's no shortage of ways to spend your days—from lounging by the pool to enjoying exceptional dining, pickleball, tennis, biking around the island, or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings. It's luxurious without feeling pretentious, elegant yet wonderfully relaxed.

My Favorite: Hermitage Bay

If there was one resort that completely captured my heart, it was Hermitage Bay.

This is one of those rare places where everything simply feels right.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. The hospitality was among the best I've experienced anywhere in the world, and it's the kind of service that stays with you long after you've returned home.

Hermitage Bay is an all-inclusive resort that perfectly balances barefoot luxury with authentic Caribbean charm. The cuisine was outstanding—from leisurely beachfront lunches to unforgettable dinners—and every meal felt thoughtfully prepared with fresh, local ingredients.

One of my favorite surprises was the Tree Bar, a beautiful open-air gathering spot that comes alive in the evenings with live music and a relaxed atmosphere. It's lively enough to enjoy a cocktail and great conversation, yet never feels crowded or like a party destination.

The accommodations are equally incredible. Beachfront suites allow you to step directly onto the sand, while the Hillside Pool Suites offer breathtaking panoramic views and private plunge pools. Honestly, I couldn't choose a favorite. If your schedule allows, I would happily recommend splitting your stay between the two—you'll experience two completely different sides of the resort, and both are unforgettable.

Whether your perfect vacation includes snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, spending the day on a private boat excursion, enjoying a couples' massage, or simply never leaving your plunge pool with a good book and a glass of wine, Hermitage Bay gives you permission to vacation exactly the way you want.
