TH Team Packing Tips:

International Travel Essentials We Love and Can’t Travel Without

Congrats! You finally booked that vacation that you’ve been talking about forever. You picked the perfect resort, made a list of things you want to see, and have been adding outfits to your online cart. Those are some of the best parts about planning a vacation but when it comes to packing, that’s the one thing (other than TSA 😏) most travelers dread.

The TH Team is here to help ease the anxiety of deciding what to pack for your next vacation. We’re sharing the top travel items we can’t travel without!

Our team travels the globe year-round and are pros at packing efficiently and knowing which products are must-haves. We’ve even included the links for you.

Jessica

  1. Portable steamer- I love wearing dresses on vacation but get annoyed when they get wrinkled in my luggage, a portable steamer is a lifesaver!

  2. An over-the-shoulder belt bag- I love that it keeps your hands free for photos, keeps your items safe, and of course, has to be cute!

  3. Portable charger because I take a lot of pictures and WiFi drains my battery.

  4. Airplane neck pillow to stay nice and comfy on the plane.

Maxie

  1. Comfortable Shoes, for easy travel days in & out of the airport and long walking tours in foreign cities.

  2. Common medicines & sunscreen - Not every destination will have the same medicines brands you are used to taking and they are guaranteed to be sold at a significantly higher price.

  3. Reusable Water Bottle - Fill it up in the airport to avoid high airport drink prices and keep it handy throughout your trip to stay hydrated.

Morgan

  1. AirFly Adapter for planes! You can use your AirPods for the screen on the plane and not have to use the plug-in earphones.

  2. Packing Cubes help keep me organized while I pack and they make unpacking when at my destination so much easier because I know exactly where everything is.

  3.  Travel sound machine– I CANNOT sleep without mine and that doesn’t stop on vacation.

Taylor

  1. Portable battery pack - it’s a must-have. I never travel without it.

  2. Headphones - I’m always catching up on my favorite TV shows or podcasts on the plane.

  3. Filtered reusable water bottle - not all places have clean drinking water. It’s so nice not having to spend $$$ on always buying water.

Amanda

  1. Water bottle. I drink so much water normally and during my travel days, I try to make sure I stay hydrated to not feel terrible. Along with hydration some form of hydration supplements like liquidIV or LMNT.

  2. Neck Pillow- just ordered one that rolls up into my bag for easy packing/carrying but also velcros to provide extra neck support. I also love that it can unzip to be washed.

  3. “Chair saver”. If traveling to a resort- then something cheap to reserve my pool chairs with. Maybe cheap flip-flops, a book, a or cheap beach bag. I love to make sure I reserve good chairs while I pick up my morning coffee

  4. If traveling internationally- your favorite American snacks. Food is a major comfort for most of us and it can be helpful to know you have spare protein bars or peanut butter crackers in your bag.

Alex

  1. Mini reusable toiletry bottles for shampoo and conditioner, body wash, lotions, etc. I like these because they can go in your carry-on and you can fill them with your favorite amenities that may not come in smaller sizes.

  2. Pillow that unfolds into a blanket! I always freeze in the airport/planes, so I like to bring a blanket. This has a pocket that you can slide on your luggage handle to make it easy to travel with.

  3. Kindle. I love a good book and the Kindle is so easy to throw in a purse/backpack!
